The
Federal Bureau of Investigation enforces the laws of the
United States of America & protects against
terrorist threats. The FBI also has a National Security
Branch which is tasked with counter-terrorism
operations. FBI agents are assigned to field offices
throughout the country and worldwide. FBI agents are
basically detectives that investigate violations of all
Federal Laws to include white collar crime, public
corruption, kidnapping, bank robbery, civil rights
violations, foreign counter-intelligence & much
more. Unlike the Secret Service, the FBI does not
have a uniformed division.
To
apply with the FBI you must have a 4 year degree from an
accredited college and be between the ages of 23-37. You must
also qualify for one of the Special Agent Entry
Programs.
You
will have to pass a physical and detailed background check
before being hired and attending the FBI Academy. The FBI
is an excellent career choice with great pay &
