The United States Secret Service is
responsible for the protection of the President & Vice
President, foreign dignitaries & others. The Secret
Service also conducts many investigations related to Federal
crimes. There is also a uniformed Police division of the
Secret Service that assists with Presidential protection &
other duties. This is a highly sought after career that
is not easy to get into. For obvious reasons the Secret
Service is extremely selective when choosing new hires.
I would recommend that you get some Law Enforcement experience
before applying to the Secret Service and a college degree is
a must.
